Physical copies and upgrade limits
Activision Support lists physical Standard editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X through retailers. Vault is digital only. A physical edition cannot be upgraded to Vault under the checked support terms; digital Standard can use the applicable platform upgrade route.
If you own a digital Standard license, the official guide lists a US suggested upgrade price of $30 or a regional equivalent. That is a suggested reference, not a live quote for every market. The platform store controls the actual price, taxes and eligibility.
Choose by use, not by the edition name
Start with Standard if your main goal is access to the base game. Consider Vault only after checking whether you will use its cosmetic content, season benefit and DMZ extras. Do not pay for Vault on the assumption that Standard Digital lacks the announced Campaign window.
Before purchasing an upgrade, confirm the platform of your original license. Read the store label carefully so you do not buy a second base game when you intended to buy an upgrade. Ordinary store links on this site do not pay us a commission.

Pre-order discounts are time-limited
The official edition guide describes a 10% Vault loyalty offer for qualifying accounts before launch, with an October 23, 2026 limit. It does not apply to Vault upgrades. Eligibility and the final checkout price need to be checked on the same relevant platform account.
